Last week, we held ID: The Exhibition, a two-day art exhibition that featured incredible and thought-provoking pieces created by local artists.

The Artist Series centred on three Vancouver-based figurative painters who showcased bodies of work that explored the concept of ID.

The featured painters were supported by 14 works by 14 diverse mixed-medium Group Exhibition artists. Amplifying the narrative of the show, the exhibition contained three installations to shake up our understanding of identity. Sponsors were also able to speak directly with the artists in attendance.

The Opening Gala sold out well-attended by sponsors and their guests, and both Friday and Saturday busy with attendees. Signature cocktail “Sidecars” were provided by event sponsor Remy Martin.

Held at the lively interactive space at the Postmark Brewing at the Settlement Building in the Railtown Design District, it was a great experience and reminder of all the talent we have in Vancouver.

Take a look at some photos from the Opening Gala below.
