TEDxVancouver Invites You to Our 2014 Soirée
October 16th, 2014
In the spirit of ideas worth sharing, we’d like to formally invite you to an evening of culture, inspiration, and 360-degree perspective—TEDxVancouver Soirée 2014.
TEDxVancouver Soirée is an exclusive opportunity for you as a guest to collaborate with fellows attendees, TEDxVancouver speakers, and local visual artists.
Being held at the Vancouver Lookout, the soiree will treat you to panoramic city views, exceptional drinks and entertainment from Tonye Aganaba Trio, Skylab Sounds, and more.
This collaborative evening will see the daytime visual art installations shift perspective and transformed through ambient light and texturized projection mapping—all components designed, produced, and created in Vancouver by curator Drew Young and Don’t Look Collective.
Additionally, this year the soiree gives all guests an opportunity to continue sharing their TEDx experience afterwards by taking a piece of inspiration home. The pieces created during the daytime program will be displayed and for auction to benefit the local arts community.
Tickets are $25 limited to 200 spots exclusively offered to registered TEDxVancouver attendees. Admission includes one drink courtesy of Russian Standard Vodka and Perseus Wines.
**The Lookout is subject to capacity. There is plenty of space for everyone in the lobby, but please be patient if the Lookout fills up early. Another reason to arrive before the crowds!
Location: Harbour Centre, 555 W Hastings Street
Doors open: 8:00PM
Your ticket includes: 360-degree sweeping views of Vancouver’s evening skyline, complimentary welcome drink, and a continuation of the day’s conversation
TEDxVancouver 2014 will be held on October 18 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre from 8am to 6pm.
