When and Where?

This Saturday the 18th, TEDxVancouver is proud to welcome you to our largest event yet. Our event this year takes place at the historic Queen Elizabeth Theatre (650 Hamilton Street) in downtown Vancouver. Doors will open at 8am, with the show starting at 9am and ending at 6pm.

Limited parking is available in the theatre’s underground parkade, accessible from Cambie Street, between West Georgia and Dunsmuir. For additional parking information or for directions to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, please see their official website.

For those who want to fast-track the line, pre-registration for this year’s event will be available in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre plaza tents, Friday the 17th, from 5pm to 7pm. This will allow you to pick up your lanyard and event access in advance, so you can dive right into the event, the following morning.

After the conference, we’ll be having a wrap-up soirée presented by Market One Media Group at the iconic Harbour Centre. Access to the scenic rooftop Lookout is limited to 200 guests, with $25  tickets now available.

This collaborative evening will see the daytime visual art installations shift perspective and transformed through ambient light and texturized projection mapping – all components designed, produced, and created in Vancouver by curator Drew Young and Don’t Look Collective.

Additionally, this year the soiree gives all guests an opportunity to continue sharing their TEDx experience afterwards by taking a piece of inspiration home. The pieces created during the daytime program will be displayed and for auction to benefit the local arts community.

Location: Harbour Centre, 555 W Hastings Street

Doors open: 8:00PM

Your ticket includes: 360 sweeping views of Vancouver’s evening skyline, complimentary welcome drink and a continuation of the day’s conversation
