TEDxVancouver is Proud to Announce the Return of Riaz Meghji as Host for 2014 Event

The countdown is on for this year’s TEDxVancovuer event, and we’re incredibly excited to have Riaz Meghji, who you may know from Breakfast Television Vancouver, as the host once again. Meghji will guide you through the biggest TEDxVancouver event to date, which will feature an amazing cast of speakers, performers, and more.

With over twelve years of experience in the television industry, Host, Producer and Speaker Riaz Meghji has conducted interviews with subjects from all walks of life Following several successful hosting stints with MTV Canada, CTV News, the Toronto International Film Festival and most recently Breakfast Television Vancouver on City Television, he has come to appreciate how a simple, candid conversation can carry a profound effect.
He has been a Host on Breakfast Television Vancouver for the past six years covering topics in current affairs, philanthropy, entertainment, sports and business.
As a Keynote Speaker and Emcee currently represented by the Lavin Agency, Meghji has also presented his concept of Every Conversation Counts on the TED stage delivering a personalized talk at TEDxSFU and later hosting TEDxVancouver in 2012.
It was his TEDxVancouver 2012 experience that inspired the launch of EveryConversationCounts.com. Every Conversation Counts documents memorable conversations that some of the world’s most fascinating figures have engaged in to achieve success and more importantly, their true sense of purpose. Through interviews conducted by Riaz, the website looks at how creative conversations can reinvent yourself, your brand and your business. Above all, readers are reminded that they can have a game changing conversation of their own, at any given moment.
Raised in Delta, BC, Meghji, graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Simon Fraser University and has always had a love of inspiring and engaging audiences. Additionally, world travel is a passion as he has spent time in over fifteen countries, all while staying active with cycling and circuit training.
